Pricing and Specifications Released for New Mercedes S 63 AMG As Dealers Prepare for it’s Arrival in November

The clock is ticking towards the much anticipated arrival of what is being called the “most sophisticated car in the world”. Pricing and specifications have been released for the S 63 AMG which is scheduled for arrival at U.K. AMG dealers in November. The new S 63 will be priced from £119,565 OTR.

The S 63 AMG will set the standard for high performance saloons in the luxury segment of the marketplace with its powerful 585 hp engine. With a top speed that is electronically limited at 155 mph, the S 63 AMG will combine its 585 hp with 900 Nm of torque to propel it from zero to 62 mph is only 4.4 seconds. In spite of all this power, technological advancements and superb engineering allow it to return a generous 27 mpg with minimal emissions of just 237 g/km.

The S 63 AMG is equipped with appointments that boast of its AMG bloodline including distinctive 19” 10-spoke alloy AMG wheels, a new “Magic Body Control” based AMG sports suspension, and a thundering AMG sports exhaust system. Inside and out, AMG branded touches add to the vehicles distinctive personality.

Along with the generous list of standard equipment, the S 63 AMG has a long list of options available. Just some of these options from the AMG Performance Studio Include:

• The Drivers Package (£2,760) – This package takes the top speed restriction to 186 mph. With The Drivers Package, the customer gains admission to the AMG “Power and Passion” event where they will learn how to handle the S 63 AMG on a racetrack.
• AMG Exterior Carbon Package (£5,000) – This package includes the use of carbon fibre to further enhance the aggressive style of this performance vehicle.
• AMG High Performance Braking (£7,090) – This upgraded braking package utilises a ceramic composite brake system
